I wonder if she knows.
As I watch the President across the room, smiling brilliantly as she speaks with Lt. Thrace, their eyes are on her, drinking her in. She laughs suddenly, the sound tinkling around the room and I see desire flare in both of their faces at the sound of it. All night, they’ve try not to look at each other, because when the jealous anger flashes in both their eyes.
Not that I can’t see the appeal, she is a lovely woman. And it was a very lovely laugh.
She appears beside me suddenly, leaning on my shoulder. “She doesn’t know,” she breathes into my ear. Out of the corner of my eye, I can see her gaze take the same triangular path my own had a moment prior. “Father and son ... both so drawn to her. She’s going to tear them apart and she doesn’t even know it.” She trails a hand down my chest, making my breath hitch. “Do you want to know what the commander is thinking right now?” She licks my ear. I whimper. “He wants to push her up against the wall.” Her hand steals into my pants. “He wants to step between her thighs. And Captain Apollo, in his mind, he’s learning what she tastes like when she comes.” She squeezes me and I fight not to moan.
It seems that for as oblivious as the President is of the other two men staring at her, she’s caught me red-handed. From across the room, she nods to me coolly before returning to her conversation.
But my tormentor hasn’t missed a beat. “And what about you, Gaius?” She licks my neck. “When you lie down tonight, will you be thinking about President Laura’s shapely legs and her pretty-smelling hair?” She bites my neck hard and I gasp and feel warmth spread through my underwear.
Embarrassed, I desire to get out of the room quickly. But as I look up my eyes clash once again with Laura Roslin’s. She’s frowning at me slightly but shakes her head and turns away.
I’m sure she thinks I’m certifiable.
And maybe I am.
But tonight, when I lie down, I probably will be thinking about her.
