Note: Authors note: I'm new here and this is my first post, so at the end of the story i'll have things about me. Also this is more drabble than plot, so forgive it.
"Tell me I'm not seeing things?"
"Na, what you're seeing is correct"
"Then why are there bugs in my breakfast? The legendary Starbuck does not eat bugs."
"These were delivered to my room at 08:00 with a note for you to eat as well."
"Why someone would deliver bugs is beyond me" "Supposedly full of protein and carbs, so eat up."
"Haven't seen you touch them"
"Yeah I have, see...YUM...so tasty" He spat the half eaten bug on the plate.
"Now that really makes me want to eat them. Who's idea was it to suppliment our meal with bugs anyway?"
"Heard it was someone of the hydro-plantation ship, who discovered these delightful creatures"
"Don't hold me back when I kill him"
"Not if I beat you to him"
"Awww that'd take the fun out of it, why not beat him together?"
Deal." He offered her the largest bug on the plate and she hesitantly took a bite. Promptly she spits it on to the plate on top of the previous.
"That tastes like....paper"
"I think it was..."
Out of the rest of the uneaten bug, he pulled out a little note. "What the? Wonder what it says!"
"We'll soon see."
